Introduction

Negin Sang Karimi Company (trading as Karimi Stone) is one of the oldest and most reputable brands in the production and export of natural stone in Iran.

The company was founded in 1967 by Mr. Reza Karimi and partners in Isfahan. For more than half a century, it has been active in the production and processing of various types of building stones, including travertine, marble, and limestone, with a strong specialization in their supply.

Over the years, Karimi Stone has been active not only in specialized international exports but also in major domestic projects. These include the paving of the Chaharbagh Project in Isfahan, Sepah Street, Imam Ali Square, and Vank Church Alley.

Throughout past years, the company has consistently been recognized by the Chamber of Commerce as an exemplary and leading exporter, reflecting its long-term commitment to quality and reliability.

The key to the company’s success has been continuous innovation in services, distinctive product quality, and—most importantly—honesty and transparency in communication with both international and domestic customers.

Today, the third generation of the Karimi family leads the company alongside a professional management team that combines family tradition with modern management practices.

Operating officially under the name Negin Sang Karimi Company (Registration No. 65776), the company holds an operating license from the Department of Industry and Mines of Isfahan and is a member of the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce and the Isfahan Stone Association.

Origin

The Karimi family began its activities in the stone industry in 1967 with the establishment of the
Derakhshan Workshop by Mr. Reza Karimi and his brother in Isfahan.

This workshop focused on processing local marble and travertine stones and quickly gained a reputation for its high quality and craftsmanship.

In the following decades, the business expanded its production capacity and product diversity under the name
Negin Stone Industries.

As international activities grew, the company adopted the official name
Negin Sang Karimi Company (Karimi Stone) to conduct formal export operations.

For more than two generations, the family has remained active in the production and processing of natural stone.

Today, the business is still managed by members of the Karimi family, combining traditional expertise with modern management methods.

Facilities and Technology Development

To meet the growing demand of both international and domestic customers, the company has made significant and continuous investments in its production facilities.

Karimi Stone operates two processing sites with a total area of 50,000 m², including 12,000 m² of covered production space.

These factories are equipped with advanced Italian and Iranian machinery, allowing the production of a wide range of stone products such as slabs, tiles, mosaics, pavers, bathtubs, sinks, and other customized elements.

The facilities support various surface finishes, including polished, honed, leather, tumbled, and sandblasted, ensuring flexibility for different architectural and design requirements.

As a result of this continuous investment in technology and production capacity, the company has become one of the leading stone-processing enterprises in Iran and one of the country’s major exporters of natural stone.

Karimi Stone invests in customer education by providing guidance on selecting materials based on climate conditions.

This guidance considers key factors such as temperature changes, freeze–thaw cycles, moisture exposure, salt weathering, and UV radiation.

Different stone types respond differently to environmental conditions. For example, granite and basalt generally show greater resistance to thermal movement and moisture compared to limestone.

Clients are encouraged to consult professionals and leverage the company’s expertise to specify the most suitable stone for each project environment.

While not presented as a formal sustainability program, the company’s focus on durable materials, efficient processing, and the use of modern machinery contributes to lower embodied energy and long-lasting construction performance.
