Stone Loading and Secured Shipment
Stone loading and secured shipment is the final controlled stage before natural stone leaves the factory. Pallets, crates, bundles, slabs and project pieces are positioned according to their format, transport method and loading plan, then secured for road or container transport.

Heavy Material. Controlled Movement.
Natural stone is heavy, rigid and vulnerable to edge damage, surface abrasion and movement if handling or securing is not matched to the material format.
The loading plan therefore starts with the shipment itself: stone type, dimensions, packaging format, package weight, truck or container type and the sequence required for positioning. The objective is to create a stable load while maintaining access for inspection and securing.
Karimi Stone coordinates loading with the preceding stone packing process and the following international shipping stage. This connects production, packing, loading and transport as one export workflow.
From Packed Stone to Dispatch
The exact sequence changes with the product and transport unit, but the loading workflow follows the same operational logic: plan, handle, position, secure, inspect and document.
Loading Plan
Package type, dimensions, weight, transport unit and loading sequence are reviewed before physical handling begins.
Controlled Handling
Forklifts, cranes and suitable lifting arrangements are selected according to the package or stone format being moved.
Positioning
Pallets, crates, bundles and frames are placed to support stability, usable securing points and practical unloading.
Securing
Restraints, supports, spacers and blocking are applied as required to limit movement during transport.
Final Inspection
Package condition, alignment, securing and overall load stability are reviewed before the transport unit is released.
Documentation
Loading photographs and shipment information provide a record of the load condition before dispatch.
Different Stone. Different Restraint.
Loading strategy depends on the geometry and packaging of the stone. The photographs on this page show multiple export formats handled at the factory.
Palletized Stone
Tiles and cut-to-size pieces can be grouped on reinforced pallets and secured for truck or container transport.
Wooden Crates
Project pieces and smaller stone formats can be packed in framed wooden crates that provide structural support during handling.
Slab Frames
Large slabs are transported vertically in steel frames with edge protection and restraints selected for the shipment.
Blocks & Heavy Pieces
Quarry blocks and heavy stone elements require lifting and positioning methods appropriate to their mass and geometry.

Position. Restrain. Verify.
Safe cargo transport depends on proper planning, packing and securing. The IMO/ILO/UNECE CTU Code provides international guidance for packing and securing cargo in containers and other cargo transport units.
Position packages to support stable loading and avoid uncontrolled concentration of load.
Use appropriate blocking, spacing and restraints to reduce unwanted movement in transport.
Keep protective wrapping, edge protection and structural packaging intact during loading.
Review load position and securing before the truck or container is released for transport.
Loading Is One Connected Stage
Reliable shipment preparation depends on what happens before and after loading. Review the connected Karimi Stone export services.
Packaging systems for tiles, slabs, project pieces and export orders.
Positioning, restraint, inspection and loading documentation.
Coordination of road, container and international stone transport.
Inspection and production controls supporting project supply.
Loading Documentation
Loading photographs provide a visual record of package condition, positioning and securing before dispatch. For project orders, shipment records can also support coordination between the factory, logistics provider and customer.
Stone Loading Questions
Practical information about natural stone loading, securing and shipment preparation.
How is natural stone secured for international transport?
The securing method depends on stone format and packaging. Pallets, crates, bundles and slab frames are positioned to control movement and are secured using suitable restraints, supports and protective materials before dispatch.
Can Karimi Stone load both trucks and shipping containers?
Yes. The loading archive on this page shows natural stone prepared and loaded for both road trucks and shipping containers.
What is checked before a stone shipment is dispatched?
The workflow includes review of package condition, positioning, securing, final stability and shipment documentation before dispatch.
How are large stone slabs loaded?
Large slabs are generally transported vertically in purpose-built support frames. Edge protection, frame position and restraints are selected according to the stone, frame and transport arrangement.
Are loading photographs available for project shipments?
Loading photographs can form part of shipment documentation and provide a visual record of packing, positioning and securing before dispatch.
