Peach Granite Polished: Properties, Uses and Global Supply

Peach Granite Polished is a warm-coloured Iranian natural stone known for its dense crystalline structure, mechanical strength and reflective surface. Its colour ranges from soft peach and light pink to orange, with visible grains of white, pink and dark minerals.

The polished finish increases surface reflection and makes the natural colours and mineral pattern more visible. This combination makes Peach Granite Polished suitable for interior flooring, wall cladding, countertops, staircases, lift interiors and selected architectural applications.

Negin Sang Karimi (Karimi Stone) processes and supplies Iranian Peach Granite in slabs, tiles, free-length pieces, steps, risers and custom-cut dimensions for domestic and international projects.

What Is Iranian Peach Granite?

Peach Granite is an intrusive igneous rock formed by the slow cooling and crystallisation of magma below the Earth’s surface. This process creates an interlocking mineral structure that generally provides high density, good compressive strength and resistance to abrasion.

Its mineral composition commonly includes quartz, feldspar, mica and scattered dark minerals. The exact colour, grain size and distribution of mineral inclusions vary naturally between quarry sections and production lots.

Taybad, Khalkhal and Khorramdarreh are recognised sources of Iranian Peach Granite. Each area may produce different peach, pink or orange tones. Learn more on the Iranian Peach Granite category page.

How Is Peach Granite Polished?

The polished finish is produced through several stages of mechanical grinding. Diamond abrasives with progressively finer grit sizes remove saw marks, flatten the surface and gradually increase its reflection.

During the final stages, Peach Granite Polished develops a smooth and glossy surface. Polishing highlights the stone’s colour and crystalline pattern, but it does not increase its structural strength. The mechanical strength of the material mainly comes from its natural mineral composition and geological structure.

Main Properties of Peach Granite Polished

Warm Natural Colour

The peach, pink and orange background creates a warmer appearance than grey or black granite. White, pink and dark mineral grains form a visible pattern across the surface.

High Mechanical Strength

Peach Granite generally has a dense crystalline structure. With suitable thickness, correct installation and proper substrate preparation, it can withstand regular foot traffic and mechanical loads.

Low Water Absorption

The relatively low water absorption of Peach Granite Polished can support its use in kitchens, bathrooms and selected exterior applications. However, low absorption does not make the stone completely waterproof, stain-proof or resistant to every type of contamination.

Abrasion Resistance

The stone may provide good abrasion resistance for floors, stairs and circulation areas. Actual performance should be verified using the technical report for the selected production lot.

Weather Performance

Peach Granite may be used outdoors when its absorption, freeze-thaw performance, dimensions and installation method meet project requirements. Exterior suitability should not be determined by colour or finish alone.

Good Polishability

Professional processing can produce a clean and reflective surface. The final gloss depends on mineral composition, abrasive sequence, resin treatment where required and the quality of factory processing.

Applications of Peach Granite Polished

  • Interior flooring: Hotel entrances, office lobbies, shopping centres and residential common areas.
  • Interior walls: Entrance walls, lift surrounds, reception areas and decorative panels.
  • Staircases: Steps, risers and landings in residential and commercial buildings.
  • Countertops: Kitchen worktops, islands, reception desks and vanity tops.
  • Lift interiors: Floor and wall panels for lift cabins.
  • Exterior cladding: Subject to suitable thickness, fixing design and engineering review.
  • Architectural elements: Columns, skirting, thresholds and custom-cut components.

Polished surfaces may become slippery when wet. For bathrooms, entrances, ramps and outdoor floors, project-specific slip testing is recommended. A honed, flamed, sandblasted or grooved finish may be more suitable where greater traction is required.

Quality Grading and Selection

The grade and price of Peach Granite can be affected by colour consistency, black mineral inclusions, natural voids, resin treatment, dimensions and processing quality.

Before production, buyers should approve representative samples showing the acceptable range of colour and mineral pattern. One small sample cannot display every natural variation in a complete shipment.

Quality Control and Export Packaging

Before packing, the inspection team can check:

  • Length, width and thickness tolerances
  • Surface flatness and polish consistency
  • Colour and mineral-inclusion range
  • Edge straightness and squareness
  • Visible cracks, chips and surface damage
  • Resin treatment where applicable
  • Piece quantity, identification and packing list
  • Compliance with approved samples

Products can be packed in wooden crates, wooden pallets, wooden bundles, iron pallets or iron bundles. Protective separators, corner protection and secure strapping help reduce movement during international transport.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Use water and a pH-neutral natural-stone cleaner.
  • Remove oil, food and coloured liquids promptly.
  • Avoid strong acids, alkaline cleaners and abrasive chemicals.
  • Do not use rough brushes that may reduce the gloss.
  • Use cutting boards and trivets on countertops.
  • Test any sealer on a spare piece before full application.

How to Order Peach Granite Polished

To request an accurate quotation, provide the required dimensions, thickness, quantity, application, edge details, grade, drawings, test requirements, packing method and destination port.

Complete specifications help Karimi Stone calculate material requirements, production time, packing and shipping costs more accurately.
