What Is Pietra Grey Polished?

Pietra Grey Polished is produced from natural Pietra Grey marble, known as Lashotor marble in Iran. The stone normally has a dark grey to charcoal background crossed by white calcite veins. The color, thickness and direction of the veins vary between blocks and quarry layers.

The polished finish makes the background appear darker and the white veins more visible compared with honed or textured surfaces. Because marble is a natural material, differences in shade and vein movement should be expected. Large orders should be produced according to approved samples and an agreed visual range.

How Is the Polished Finish Produced?
