What Is Pietra Grey Sandblasted & Brushed?

Pietra Grey Sandblasted & Brushed is produced from the same Pietra Grey marble, but each finish creates a different surface appearance and function. Sandblasting creates a fine, evenly textured surface by directing abrasive particles at controlled pressure onto the stone. Brushing uses abrasive brushes to soften the texture and reveal the natural structure of the marble.

Both processes reduce surface reflection compared with polished marble. They also preserve the dark grey identity and fine white veining associated with Pietra Grey. Natural variations in vein direction, shade and mineral pattern should be expected because every block is different.

Sandblasted Pietra Grey Marble

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Use a pH-neutral cleaner made for natural marble.
• Do not use vinegar, acidic cleaners or aggressive chemicals.
• Remove spills quickly, especially oil, coffee and colored liquids.
• Use a compatible penetrating sealer when required by the application.
• Test cleaning products on a small hidden area before general use.
• Do not use uncontrolled high-pressure washing on textured marble.
